Since 1963, when the agency was founded by Earl Horton, we have dedicated our time to get to know each client as an individual and deliver a more personal approach to their insurance needs.

 

In the beginning the agency’s primary focus was on personal lines, but over the years we have grown into a full-service agency providing both personal and commercial insurance. We represent markets which are able to insure people from all walks of life. Chances are, whatever an insured may need, we have an expert in that area of insurance. Horton’s Insurance Agency is also a leader in life, long term care, and disability insurance coverage.

 

Horton’s Insurance Agency represents many insurance companies, but our major carriers are Auto-Owners, Progressive, Allstate, Foremost, Dairyland, and many more including companies specifically designated for life insurance. In addition, our agency is a nine-time Presidents Club Member with Auto-Owners Life Insurance Company.

 

After more than sixty years providing service to southern Alabama and northwest Florida, we are still a locally-owned and family-operated independent insurance agency who puts our customers first.
